Since 2010, she has led the iSensor Analysts Laboratory, where she directs a multidisciplinary team exploring sociotechnical challenges at the intersection of human behavior, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity.<\/p>\n<p>The iSensor Lab advances human-centered cybersecurity research by examining behavioral threats and trust dynamics in digital environments. Using a combination of live, gamified, and virtual laboratory experiments, the lab studies human behavior in realistic, high-stakes cyber settings.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Metcalfe\u2019s research is grounded in a sociotechnical approach that brings together social-psychological theory and pragmatic insights into language-action cues. This framework enables the development of innovative computational models and next-generation predictive behavioral reasoning systems. Her work deepens understanding of trust, human disposition, and intent, helping to inform the design of AI-enabled security systems that are more transparent, explainable, and resilient.<\/p>\n<p>Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Air Force, the Institute of International Education, the Florida Center for Cybersecurity, and the Florida State University, highlighting its relevance to both national security and broader societal resilience. Following her professional experience as a journalist, and BA and MA in Psychology, her papers and courses on urban-tech and urban cognition (mainly Big Data Ethics in the Smart City) cover a range of civic topics such as community-based sharing economy, openness in system design and responsibility in technology implementation. Spencer also designed and implemented the website to interface with the developed architecture using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Spencer deployed the Veracity AI in the high performance computing environment at FSU Research Computing Center. Rongchao worked as Research Assistant at iSensor Lab from May 2022 through May 2023. He worked on deep learning modeling for Image Manipulation Detection task. He further developed backend services with Spring framework and other middleware to improve the security, performance, consistency and availability. Wen is Research Assistant at the iSensor Lab during Spring 2022 through Spring 2023. He has extensive experience in front-end and back-end software development, and has worked in software development in Beijing and Tokyo. During his time at the lab, he addresses the log4j vulnerabilities in the server and deployed a stable version of the Pandemic Self Defense (or, P-SelfDefense) mobile app. He further deployed a SSL certificate signing for the app\u2019s secure communication with the server. He build the front end and the back end framework for Veracity AI. He is currently developing the android version and iOS version application using Flutter\/Dart SDK. Her primary research interests are UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, and Deepfake technology. She currently studies under Dr. Shuyuan Metcalfe on the topics of broadening societal information digital literacy to defend against deepfake infodemic. Kashyap was a Research Assistant and a developer at the iSensor Lab under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Shuyuan Mary Ho. He was a lead developer\u00a0in\u00a0the healthcare division for Med Mantra (a comprehensive hospital management solution, in pharmacy module) for the prestigious TATA\u2019s Tata Consultancy Services (2011-2013). He assisted\u00a0the product to go live in various locations in India.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/isensoranalytics.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Holly-Fu_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-513\" src=\"https:\/\/isensoranalytics.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Holly-Fu_2.jpg\" alt=\"Holly Fu_2\" width=\"142\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Dr. Hengyi (Holly) Fu<\/strong> received a Ph.D. in Information from Florida State University School of Information (2019). She received a Master degree&#8217;s of Library and Information Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2013). She studied Computer Science at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include online communities, social computing, human-computer interaction, and social informatics. Dr. Clark&#8217;s research interests are information needs of children, emergent literacy, cybersecurity, health informatics, military information, and intrinsic motivation. Before joining FSU iSchool, Laura worked in marketing both in the area of tourism and manufacturing. She has worked in Germany doing Army personnel testing. She has worked for the two major hospitals in Pensacola as an educational instructor. With\u00a0a diverse working background that required excellent communications skills, problem solving, and creative thinking, Laura worked in Tallahassee, Florida for the Florida Department of Agriculture, Division of Marketing and Development. Additionally, she also worked as a librarian for LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System in Tallahassee, Florida for three years. This job focused on reference and children\u2019s programming.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/isensorlab.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/John.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-509\" src=\"https:\/\/isensoranalytics.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/John.png\" alt=\"John\" width=\"136\" height=\"135\" \/><\/a><\/strong><strong>Dr. Jonathan Hollister<\/strong> received a Ph.D. in Information from Florida State University School of Information (2015), a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from FSU iSchool, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Jonathan is interested in the individual and social information behaviors in virtual \u00a0communities and worlds. Specifically, Dr. Hollister is interested in looking for the representation, acquisition, and demonstration of information, media, and technology literacy skills in persistent virtual online gaming \u00a0communities.
